Comment: "This case, if approved, would be a financial hardship on current non-legacy
export customers.These customers could be forced into installing on-site energy storage
to protect the investment made previously into energy generation. This proposal almost
completely negates the benefits customers used in deciding to install on-site energy
generation and in some cases could make that investment a financial loss. If this passes,
anyone even thinking of installing on-site generation would probably be completely turned
away due to the lack of return on investment. In a country that is struggling with low carbon
energy generation this seems like an approach that is not beneficial."
