Comment: "It would seem that Idaho power is asking the customers to bail them out of a
situation poor management and a faulty power investment strategy has gotten them in.
They bought into Green energy that is known to be a short term asset life cycle, inefficient,
unreliable and expensive to dispose of; not to mention the environmental costs Green was
supposed to actually help remedy. They bought out of Longterm reliable cheaper energy
sources; closing contracts prematurely. And now they want customers to bear the burden
of stupid decisions they made. Company board members should be held accountable for a
Lack of due diligence. A 20% increases in power supply costs are exorbitantly unbearable
and evidence of a lack of forward thinking mitigation strategies and a complete disregard
for the customers who pay dearly for somebody else's mistakes. "
