Comment: "I am pleased that a case has been opened for the benefit of the Bear Claw
Water system.
I've owned a lot there for about 5 years. Shortly after my purchase, the water connection
moratorium came into existence. The lack of progress has been frustrating. Many property
owners are older and retired. As such, I don't see me getting anything out of this property in
my lifetime. In addition, the assessor has tripled values, raising my taxes significantly. I
have to pay the tax, but I can't build, or sell. Investment companies have inquired about
the property, but when I disclose the water connection issue, they disappear."
