Subject: Case Number VID-W-25-02
I am writing in protest of the rate increase regarding VID-W-25-02.
The rate increase being requested is extremely excessive. The current supplier made the
decision on their own to take over the prior water provided. It was their decision to take
over the water system and obviously did not do their financial homework and are now
asking us to pay for their business error. While I have no issue with a modest rate increase,
the amount they are asking for is excessive and not at all in line with what other local water
companies are charging in our area.
Hopefully the calmer and more realistic minds at the Idaho Public Utilities will prevail.
