Comment: "I wanted to go on record stating that this plan is unfair and directly opposes
Idaho values.We are letting big energy users use our energy and sticking their bill to Idaho's
citizens. These increases are causing irreparable harm to Idahoans as the energy costs
keep creeping up. "

Comment: "I received notice that Idaho Power is requesting arate increase of 13.09%for
electricity as well as an increase of service charge from $15 to $25 each month. One of the
reasons I moved to Idaho was the affordable cost of electricity compared to Oregon. I
retired and now on a fixed income. I see the same carbon copy issues used to justify rate
increases and I really don't believe all the reasons for the increase. I know that most of the
rate increase revenue will go to pay the CEO and board members extravagant salaries and
build new buildings. I believe in the free market, but this increase is really over what
necessary to maintain infrastructure. If this increase is authorized, the public ultilitywill
come back again for another rate increases and in a year or two and it doesn't stop. There
are plenty of hard working Idahoans that can barely afford decent housing or stay in their
homes. I am requesting that this rate increase be denied. Housing, food, shelter, medical
are already very expensive in this state, now ultility cost are increasing. Summers are hot
and winters are very cold in Idaho. Those are the worse two seasons here in Idaho. "

Comment: "I just receive notice of your high rate increase request of 17.35% effective
January 1, 2023.
1 am shocked at this increase request and you tying it to wildfires that have been linked to
your company in the past.
This is a crazy amount to asks customers to absorb and I will be asking our state delegation
to look more into what you are doing to save Idaho money and be a better steward of our
power supply and safety.
I strongly oppose this rate increase. "
