I have contacted you before about Idaho Power's application IPC-E-25-16.
I have great concern for myself and many others that live below poverty level but don't ask
for assistance. For Idaho Power to increase our monthly bill by at least$259 a year is
breaking our backs.As a resident, we already pay an extremely higher rate as we have for
many years, but we get very little if not no breaks.
I'm begging you to please keep us little guys in mind when you decide on this additional
increase.
As I understand, we have already been subjected to an increase this January. Please don't
justify these this high rate increase they are asking for and the add $10 to our service
payment of$15. Just these two increases add up to approximately$379. Many of us can
barely pay what we are charged now.What kind of service payment to the big users have?
Also, people who have purchased very expensive solar panels and contribute to the ever
increasing power demand without Idaho Power paying for anything but an employee that
inspects the installation. Now they want to cheat us out of crediting us for it. How much
would a new dam, coal generator, more windmill generators or whatever cost? Is any of that
part of the equation?
Anyway, you're welcome to call me anytime if you want to discuss this with me. An
