RE: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S 2024 VARIABLE
ENERGY RESOURCE STUDY AND PROPOSED UPDATE TO
SCHEDULE 87; CASE NO. IPC-E-25-07.
BACKGROUND
On July 1, 2025,the Idaho Public Utilities Commission("Commission") issued Order No.
36661, which required Idaho Power Company ("Company") to submit an updated Schedule 87
through a compliance filing, reflecting Staff s proposed changes in Attachment No. 1 of Staff s
Comments. Although the order did not specify an effective date for the updated Schedule 87,both
the Company and Staff recommended an effective date of June 1, 2025.
On July 1, 2025, the Company filed a compliance filing to comply with Order No. 36661.
However, the compliance filing did not include levelized rates for contracts with terms of one
through 19 years as approved by Order No. 36661.
On July 3, 2025, the Company filed a supplemental compliance filing to correct the
mistake.
STAFF REVIEW
Staff reviewed the Company's supplemental compliance filing and confirmed it has
reflected the correct integration charges approved by Order No. 36661. Staff also believes that it
is acceptable to use the June 1, 2025, effective date, as stated on the updated Schedule 87,because
according to the supplemental compliance filing no contract has been executed since June 1,2025.

Therefore, Staff recommends that the Commission approve the supplemental compliance filing
with an effective date of June 1, 2025.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve the Company's supplemental compliance
filing filed on July 3, 2025, with an effective date of June 1, 2025.
COMMISSION DECISION
