The cost of living has sky rocketed and everyone is cutting back except Idaho power. They have grandiose offices, exorbitant salaries, luxury vehicles, and they still want more. It's it's time that Idaho power does their fair share in cutting back. They need to reduce renumeration for executives. They need to cut back on payments to stockholders. They never are forced to balance a budget and it's about time that they are forced to do so. Send word by giving them zero increase. Do your job and protect the citizens of Idaho call for a forensic audit of Idaho power just like doge is doing for the federal government:' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following comment was submitted via PUCWeb: Name: Jean Potter Submission Time: Jun 25 2025 11:24AM Email:jeanpotter1530@gmail.com Telephone: 208-494-4085 Address: 2907 S Inglewood Rd Boise, ID 83705 Name of Utility Company: Idaho Power Case ID: IPC-E-25-16 Comment: "The Idaho Power request to increase both rates and monthlyfee of 17% is hurt the low and middle income earners throughout Idaho. If Idaho Power continues to supple much needed electricty to California and other western states, the cost should fall on those states, not Idahoans who's salaries rank 43rd in the US, but has the 22nd highest 1 cost of living. Raising rates to increase profits when the country is headed into a recession, interest rates are high, rents are high, and the fodd costs are high. This is an irresponsible increase for a company whos salaries average way above the state average. According to Ziprecruiter, the top earners in Idaho have an annual salary of$47,985, this is way below the average salary of$76,294 to$137,916, an increase of 62%to almost 300%. 1 am firmly against an increase of 17%for Idaho Power. Please do what is right for Idahoans. " -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2
