Comment: "Absolutely NOT! The ID PUC should never support having ID residents pay for
any system improvements or enhancements that will not benefit primarily the ID residents.
Even if ID residents would be paying a portion for any changes, that portion should NEVER
exceed the percentage that benefits ID. If this power transmission line is to sell power to
CA, then CA should paythe whole cost. If ID Power is allowed to force ratepayers to invest
in this, all proceeds from the project to be returned to these ratepayers as realized profit for
the risk of investment. ID Power should become a municipally-owned utility, owned by its
ratepayers!"
