Comment: "Regarding PUC Case# IPC-E-25_08:
1. Wind and solar farms are not wanted in Idaho as they are detrimental to the local flora
and fauna.
2. People in Idaho do not want to be billed for the building of infrastructure of these un-
green monstrosities so they can transmit the electricity to California.
3. People of Idaho do not want the electricity from our hydroelectric dams to be sent to CA,
nor do we want to be charged for it.
4. People of Idaho especially do not want to be billed for this boondoggle when it fails.
5. Nor do we want the unrecyclable mess that will be left when these things start to break
down. "

Comment: "I'am a born and raised Idahoan ,and we have been fighting against the idea of
installing the windmills and solar and swip line proposed bye is energy and Great Basin
Transmission for several years now,as a Taxpayer I'am against any taxpayer money going
towards the exact thing we are fighting against,it would be Immoral and a HUGE INSULT TO
ALL IDAHOANS to take our money and give it to Idaho Power to do Just That. If you, Idaho
Power or anyone thinks they can go around what the Citizens of Idaho want they will find
themselves in court ,and being held responsible in full ,and we will not stop fighting for our
State lands and public lands until they are safe from the criminals that are trying to steal
1
them from us with our own money.) ask that you think very carefully before deciding to give
our money to someone we are opposed to costing the public money and putting our
communities more danger of rising power costs:'

Comment: "Dear Members of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, I am writing to express
my strong opposition to the proposal that would charge Idaho ratepayers 250 million
dollars to invest with a foreign company( LS Power, DBA Great Basin Transmission )for the
construction of transmission lines intended to carry power out of Idaho to California. It is
my belief that this practice is fundamentally unfair and places an undue financial burden
on the residents and businesses of our state.
Idaho is rich in natural resources and generates a significant amount of power. It is
essential that the energy produced in our state primarily benefits our local communities
and supports our economy. Charging Idaho power customers for infrastructure that
primarily serves foreign and out-of-state interests undermines this principle and diverts
resources away from our own needs.
As a resident of Idaho, I believe that our power customers should not be responsible for
footing the bill for energy that will be exported to California and profits for a multinational
corporation. Instead, we should prioritize the development of our own energy infrastructure
to ensure that the power generated in Idaho is utilized to meet the needs of Idahoans first.
I urge the Commission to reconsider this proposal and to advocate for policies that protect
the interests of Idaho ratepayers. Our energy resources should serve our communities, not
be used to subsidize the energy needs of other states.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter. I hope to see a commitment to
prioritizing Idaho's energy needs in future decisions."
Sincerely,
Julie Stadtherr

Comment: "IDaho customers do not want to pay for transmission of wind or hydro power to
other states, especially to mismanaged California. I am opposed to any and all rate
increases, especially when there is no benefit for Idaho residents."
