Comment: "Idaho Power has proposed a massive rate increase that I believe is neither
reasonable nor fair.This comes as Idaho Power continues to undermine rooftop solar
adoption, limiting one of the cleanest and most cost-effective energy solutions we have. As
a consumer, this appears to not be in the best interest of Idaho Power's customers. The
17%+ proposed increase exceeds the rate of inflation and would disproportionately hurt
working families, small businesses, and Idahoans on fixed incomes—especially at a time
when so many are already struggling with rising costs for housing, groceries, and
healthcare. Is Idaho Power willing to provide financial support to those who will be most
affected by this increase? Please contact me for further thoughts and opinions, interesting
timing w/increasing temperatures which are significantly driven by the lack of using
renewable energy...coincidence??"

Comment: "I am asking the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to deny Idaho Power's rate
increase. This increase exceeds the rate of inflation and would disproportionately harm
working class families at a time when several are already having difficulty making ends
meet due to higher costs in groceries, housing, and healthcare.

Comment: "The rate increase should be applied to NEW customers. Not existing
customers. Especially long time existing customers. Those of us who have been here for
decades didnt ask for all these people to move here.The demand for more power
infrastructure was caused be the growth of population by new residents moving in from out
of state. They should eat the cost. "
