Dear Ms. Barrios-Sanchez,
TracFone Wireless, Inc. (TracFone) hereby notifies the Commission that it has changed its name
to Verizon Value, Inc. d/b/a TracFone.
TracFone is a prepaid wireless provider that has been designated as an eligible
telecommunications carrier(ETC)under the company's former name (Case No. TFW-T-09-01).
TracFone respectfully requests that the Commission change the ETC designation to reflect the
new name: Verizon Value, Inc. No change to the ownership or management of TracFone has
occurred or is contemplated as a result of this name change.
TracFone's new name has been registered with the Washington Secretary of State's Office, as
reflected in the attached certificate. The name change does not alter TracFone's corporate
structure or business operations. The company's principal business address remains at 9700
Northwest 112 Ave., Miami, Florida 33178.
Because the company will continue to use the trade name TracFone Wireless, the branding of its
stores, websites, advertising and services are unaffected by the new name. The name change thus
will be transparent to customers and all contact information for TracFone will remain the same.
TracFone respectfully requests the Commission to update its records to reflect this change in
corporate name.
