SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF IDAHO POWER
COMPANY FOR AUTHORITY TO INCREASE ITS RATES AND
CHARGES FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE IN THE STATE OF IDAHO AND
AUTHORITY TO IMPLEMENT CERTAIN MEASURES TO MITIGATE
THE IMPACT OF REGULATORY LAG; CASE NO. IPC-E-25-16.
On May 30, 2025, Idaho Power Company ("Company") applied to the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authority to increase its rates and charges for
electric service to its customers in the State of Idaho and for associated regulatory accounting
treatment. The Company requests a July 1, 2025, effective date.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff ("Staff') recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of
Application, Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period, and
suspend the Company's proposed effective date.
