SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE ELECTRIC LINE EXTENSION SCHEDULE 51
ANNUAL RATE ADJUSTMENT FILING OF AVISTA CORPORATION;
CASE NO. AVU-E-25-04.
On March 31, 2025, Avista Corporation, doing business as Avista Utilities ("Company")
filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") for an order
approving the update in costs and administrative changes to the Company's Electric Line
Extension Schedule 51. The Company requested a May 15, 2025, effective date.
On May 22, 2025, the Commission issued Order No. 36613 approving the updated costs
for Schedule 51. The Commission ordered the Company to submit a compliance filing, updating
the tariff language to include"all customers"with a load request who require an impact study pay
for the cost.
On May 27, 2025,the Company submitted a compliance filing,updating Schedule 51 with
the tariff language to be consistent with Order No. 36613.
STAFF REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION
Staff reviewed the updated Schedule 51 and confirmed that it accurately represents the
costs and tariff language ordered by the Commission. Staff recommends that the Commission
approve the updated Schedule 51, as file, effective May 15, 2025.
