Comment: "I am objecting to the severe rate increase and the reduction of our water usage
by Gem State Water Company. I believe that a rate increase of this magnitude is not
justified. Gem State and many other small water companies are being bought up creating a
monopoly. It appears that while the managers are giving themselves substantial salary
raises they are at the same time passing along the cost of their business expansion to the
existing customers. I am in opposition to this unfair and massive rate increase and I expect
our elected officials to decide in favor of the citizens on this issue."
