My name is Richael Belnap, and my address is 2300 E Bellerive Dr, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. 1
would like to express my concern about the proposed rate hike from Falls Water for the
customers potentially affected.We are already paying what feels like an unbelievably high
rate for our sewer/water services.This is, of course, a utility and therefore we are in a
position of not having a choice in providers of this service, but I assure you if anyone did
they would opt for a competing company as the cost is outrageous and the product is
terrible. There is so much sand in my water that anything I have that pulls water and has a
filter breaks constantly, and when I pull dishes out of my dishwasher I have to rinse off the
dirt.
Please understand that we as citizens rely on you as our representatives to protect us from
unreasonable behavior from utility companies as we have no choice. This meets that
definition in every way that is conceivable. I am confident I represent all constituents in
pleading with you to fulfill that responsibility and disallow this price increase, and candidly
the current rates should be evaluated for a decrease.
