Comment: "As an Idaho homeowner who has invested in a rooftop solar system, I urge the
IPUC to carefully review and adjust the Export Credit Rate proposal put forth by Idaho
Power. With Idaho Power's goal of using 100% clean energy by 2045, the IPUC should figure
out how to further that clean energy transition by taking a second look at the the ECR
framework to make sure that it doesn't inhibit homeowners from investing in solar power
generation, which only helps the state move towards its clean energy goals.
Additionally, the ECR should be set at a maximum annual percent change value or locked
for several years so that homeowners and solar service providers are able to confidently
estimate the costs and benefits of rooftop solar programs. Please bring equal
consideration to the everyday Idahoans who are committed to clean energy in the state and
investing in solar power as you do to the interests and management of Idaho Power."
