Comment: "As a Rocky Mountain Customer and due to the continual increases in my cost
for electricity(17%this January alone) I took the opportunityto analyze the possible relief I
could get by installing solar on my home.
After seeing my calculated ROI and sensing that the cost of electricity would continue to
rise I decided I could install solar& recoup my cost in a timely manner.
Of course this ROI calculation was based on several factors such as 2024 charges, the 17%
increase that occurred this year, and the anticipated amount that we would receive from
the credits for selling electricty back to RMP.
Also the amount of solar I placed on the roof was based on those factors as well. The
biggest factor was the credits I would receive over time that could offset the increases in
the kwh price increases that invariably come.
I accept that my reliance on solar has the same issues that RMP sees by relying on solar.
That said if RMP can decrease the amount they give me for the electricity I produce on their
behalf it effectively allows them to raise the rates I pay for power from them a second time.
So I as a consumer lose to them first by them increasing the cost of power I get from
them(17%this year and who knows what is coming next?), and then I lose again by them
cutting the amount they would pay for excess power I sell to them for a credit and not cash.
I recognize that you already understand what I am saying but I thought I should say it
a nyway.

What they area ski ng doesn't make sense and if I could sell my electricity to someone else
for a fairer price I would. But I can't, so my fate is in your hands on this matter.
Thank you for your consideration on this issue.
