15 COMES NOW, The INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS OF IDAHO POWER, hereinafter
16 referred to as "Intervenor," and pursuant to this Commission's Rules of Procedure, Rule 71
17 IDAPA 31.01.01.71 hereby petitions the Commission for leave to intervene herein and to appear
18 and participate herein as a party, and as grounds therefore states as follows:

10 2. This Intervenor, the Industrial Customers of Idaho Power is an unincorporated
I I association of Schedule 19 (large power schedule) customers of Idaho Power Company all of
12
whom receive electric utility services from Idaho Power Company. This Intervenor claims a
13
direct and substantial interest in this proceeding in that its rates for electric service from Idaho
14
15 Power Company will be affected by the outcome of this proceeding.

3. This Intervenor intends to participate herein as a party, and if necessary, to
17
18 introduce evidence, cross-examine witnesses, call and examine witnesses, and be heard in
19 argument. The nature and quality of evidence which this Intervenor will introduce is dependent
20 upon the nature and effect of other evidence in this proceeding.

22 4. Without the opportunity to intervene herein, this Intervenor would be without any
23 means of participation in this proceeding which may have a material impact on its electric and
24 natural gas rates and the terms and conditions of such service.
25
26 5. Granting this Intervenor's petition to intervene will not unduly broaden the issues
27 nor will it prejudice any party to this case.
