On January 31,2025,Avista Corporation("Company")applied to the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission ("Commission") requesting authorization to increase its rates for both Electric and
Natural Gas service ("Application"). The Company requests a Two-Year Rate Plan with a Rate
Year 1 effective date of September 1,2025, and a Rate Year 2 effective date of September 1,2026.
On February 19, 2025, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 36470. Subsequently, the Commission granted intervention to
Clearwater Paper Corporation, Idaho Forest Group LLC, and Walmart Inc. Order Nos. 36472,
36490,and 36518. With this Order,the Commission establishes the following procedural schedule
and sets dates and times for a virtual public workshop and a technical hearing.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission establishes the following
procedural schedule:
• May 14 & 15, 2025: Virtual Public Workshop starting at 6:00 p.m.
(MDT) and ending at 9:00 p.m. (MDT), or until all
customer questions have been answered, whichever
comes first.
• June 11, 2025: Staff and Intervenor written testimony deadline.
• July 8, 2025: Company Rebuttal written testimony deadline.
• July 23-24, 2025: Technical Hearing starting at 9:00 a.m. (MDT) and
ending at 5:00 p.m. (MDT)

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all testimony and exhibits in this matter must
comport with the requirements of Commission Rules of Procedure 231 and 267. IDAPA
31.01.01.231 and .267.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will hold a Public Customer
Hearing at a time, date, and location to be set by a subsequent Commission order.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that Commission Staff ("Staff') will hold a virtual,
online, public, informational workshop on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY, MAY 14 & 15,
2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. (MDT) and ending at 9:00 p.m. (MDT), or after all customer
questions have been answered, whichever comes first. The purpose of the workshop is to
provide the public with an overview of the Application. At the start of the workshop, Staff will
give a presentation on the Application. Following the presentation, the public may ask Staff
questions about the Application.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a technical hearing
in this matter on WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. (MDT) and ending at
5:00 p.m. (MDT). The technical hearing shall continue as necessary on JULY 24, 2025,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the above procedural schedule is established.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Staff and Intervenors shall have until June 11, 2025, to
prefile written testimony. The Company shall have until July 8, 2025, to prefile written rebuttal
testimony.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Staff shall hold a virtual public informational workshop
on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY, MAY 14 & 15, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. (MDT) and
ending at 9:00 p.m. (MDT), or after all customer questions have been answered, whichever
comes first.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission will conduct a technical hearing in this
matter on WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. (MDT) and ending at 5:00

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties comply with Order No. 35375, issued April 21,
2022. Generally, all pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and will be
deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary.See Rule 14.02. Service between
parties should continue to be accomplished electronically when possible. However, voluminous
discovery-related documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
