On April 9, 2025, Commission Staff (Staff) of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
(Commission) applied for an order to update Surrogate Avoided Resource (SAR) Model inputs
and approve SAR-based avoided cost rates.
On April 15,2025,the Commission issued Order No. 36543,Notice of Application, and Notice of
Modified Procedure allowing 21 days for parties to submit comments on Staff s application.
PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power has reviewed the calculation of the new published avoided
cost rates and agrees the published avoided cost rates were updated correctly.
