FOR A ) GENERAL RATE CASE ) MOTION TO APPROVE STIPULATION AND SETTLEMENT ) ) ) Veolia Water Idaho, Inc., ("Veolia Water Idaho' or"Company") moves the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") for an Order accepting the Stipulation and Settlement ("Settlement"), which has been agreed to by all the parties to this proceeding, namely the Idaho Public Utilities Commission Staff("Staff'), Micron Technology, Inc. ("Micron") and the City of Boise ("City"). The fully executed Settlement is filed with this motion. IDAPA 31.01.01.56, .272, .274. On November 22, 2024, Veolia filed a general rate case application requesting authority to increase rates by approximately $11.158 million, or approximately 19.84%, with a proposed effective date of December 23, 2024. On December 13, 2024, the Commission issued a Notice of Application,Notice of Suspension of Proposed Effective Date, and Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 36420. MOTION TO APPROVE STIPULATION AND SETTLEMENT 1 The City and Micron intervened. See Order Nos. 36439, 36443. Staff propounded, and the Company responded, to numerous production requests, and Staff conducted a three-day on- site audit to review matters related to the case in February 2025. On March 10, 2025, the Parties held a settlement conference and agreed in principle to the terms set forth in the Settlement. The Parties' agreement is set forth in the Settlement. The Parties recommend that the Commission grant this Motion and approve the Stipulation and Settlement in its entirety, without material change or condition,pursuant to IDAPA 31.01.01.274 and the Settlement. In light of the proposed Stipulation and Settlement, Veolia respectfully requests that the Commission issue a Notice of Proposed Settlement and schedule further proceedings to allow for expeditious processing of this case, taking into account the need for comments and involvement from members of the public. For these reasons, Veolia respectfully requests that the Commission issue an order: 1. Establishing a schedule to consider the Settlement; 2. After the requisite procedures, approving the Settlement in its entirety, without material change or condition; and 3. Authorizing the Company to implement revised tariff schedules designed to recover the additional revenue from Idaho customers,beginning June 1, 2025, consistent with the terms of the Settlement.
