UPDATE INPUTS TO THE SURROGATE AVOIDED RESOURCE("SAR")

On April 9, 2025, Commission Staff ("Staff') applied to the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission ("Commission") requesting the Commission issue an order updating inputs to the
Surrogate Avoided Resource ("SAR") Model and approving the SAR-based avoided cost rates
submitted with the Application.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommended the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified
Procedure establishing a 21-day public comment deadline, and a 7-day reply comment deadline.
