Dear Ms. Jewell:
Mobile West Corporation, d/b/a I-Mobile ("Mobile ) has recently been contacted by
the Idaho Public Service Commission ("Commission ) in regards to a historical tariff
filed by an entity known as Western PCS II Corporation on November 13 , 1998; and we
are also in receipt of a Commission Notice dated April 18, 2006 related to the payment of
a special regulatory fee due to the Commission.
Please be advised that I-Mobile, is a commercial mobile radio service ("CMRS") as
defined under 47 USC 9 332(d)(I), and currently provides voice and data services
throughout the state of Idaho via licenses awarded by the Federal Communications
Commission. Under Idaho Code 9 62-603(13) mobile radio telecommunications services
are not subject to the regulation of the Commission.
We respectfully request that the Commission update its records to reflect the fact that T-
Mobile has not historically nor does it currently offer "Inter-exchange services" in the
state ofIdaho; and I-Mobile is not subject to the special regulatory fee assessment
detailed in the Commission s Notice for the reasons stated herein.
