Additional Comments:
Observations Included: (2237 & 2211 S Janeen St, Boise, ID) Line locating, potholing, boring, correct
trench and bore depth, safety equipment, verification OQ records, verification equipment calibrations, butt
fusion and tracer wire. Quizzed employees on applicable AOCs of butt fusion procedures. All observed
procedures were completed in accordance with IGC Operations and Maintenance Manual.
When the 2" STL main was day lighted the crew observed a prior line strike that had bent the pipe. The
District Operations Coordinator was notified and requested an IGC welder to remove the wrap and inspect
the pipe for dents and external corrosion.
