CASE NO. GNR-00- ORDER NO. 30177 On October 31 2006, Universal Access, Inc. filed a request that its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 380 (CPCN) be cancelled and all tariffs on file with the Commission be withdrawn. The Company stated it is no longer in operation and has no customers in Idaho. In its Decision Meeting on November 6, 2006, the Commission determined to approve Universal's request for cancellation of Certificate No. 380. COMMISSION FINDINGS In February 2000 Universal Access, Inc. filed an Application with the Commission requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the State ofIdaho. In July 2000 the Commission granted Universal's Application for a CPCN to provide telecommunications services within Idaho. Order No. 228443. On October 31 , 2006, Universal Access, Inc. notified the Commission that it does not have any customers in Idaho and is no longer offering services in the state, and therefore requested cancellation of Certificate No. 380 and its tariffs. Staff recommended the Commission cancel Certificate No. 380 and remove the Company s tariffs on file. It is appropriate to approve Universal Access, Inc.s request to cancel its CPCN No. 380. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Universal Access, Inc.s request for cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 380 is granted. Certificate No. 380 is no longer in effect, and Universal Access, Inc. is no longer authorized to provide service in the State ofIdaho. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this Case No. GNR-00-6 may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has ORDER NO. 30177 petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code ~~ 61-619 and 61-626.
