Please accept the original and three (3) copies this letter as a request on behalf of Talk America
Inc. d/b/a Cavalier Telephone also d/b/a Cavalier Business Communications to relinquish its
authority to provide Local Exchange Service as a Competitive Local Carrier, which authority
was granted in Order No. 27137 in Case No. TSY-97-1 on September 18, 1997. The
Company has no local customers in Idaho and has no outstanding obligations in the form of
advance payments or deposits. Consequently, no customers will be affected by this request and
customer notice is not required.
With this filing the Company requests that the Commission cancel its Local Exchange Services
Idaho PUC Price List No.
The Company continue to provide intrastate resold long distance services in Idaho without
interruption.
