Dear Commissioners,
We would like to extend our sincere thanks for the time and effort you took to come to our
community and explain your position regarding the rate proposal for Priest Lake Water, LLC.Your
thorough breakdown of the utility's liability to provide and maintain a safe and reliable water system
was invaluable in helping us better understand the challenges the utility faces.
We would also like to commend Jared from Priest Lake Water, LLC. He has consistently been
responsive to any issues that arise and does an excellent job in ensuring that our community has
access to safe drinking water.As both a service provider and a resident, his dedication to
maintaining a safe water system is clear, and it's reassuring to know that his family,too, drinks and
uses the same water.
While the proposed 165% rate increase was understandably concerning,we recognize that rising
costs are part of the bigger picture.We trust that the Idaho Public Utilities Commission will take all
factors into consideration and work towards a rate that is fair and equitable for all parties involved.
