This is not what we signed up for and not what Rocky Mountain Power agreed to. For them to change the buyback rate is unfair to the customers. We ask the Idaho PUC to defend residents and customers like us. Thankyou." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Ronald Mihu Submission Time: Mar 27 2025 10:25PM Email: ronmihu@gmail.com Telephone:208-9 70-6342 Address:5483 Barton Circle Ammon, ID 83406 Name of Utility Company: Rocky Mountain Power Case ID: PAC-E-25-02 Comment: "I am against this proposal. How is this fair and equitable to all customers? My observation is that there is no equity in this proposal. As an on-site generator, I should be afforded the same protections given to previous legacy owners. I am the one that caries the burden of the equipment which generates the power. In fairness, I would expect to pay an equatable price for the storage of my power on the Rocky Mountain power grid. I generate more power than I use. It is my position that the total consumption of my generated power should be subtracted from my total output. I have no issue with my total excess power being fairly evaluated and then signed over to Rocky Mountain at a fair and equitable price because Rocky Mountain Power can then sell that power to consumers at their premium. In this proposed case it appears to me that I generate power during the day and Rocky Mountain power credits back to me at the lowest wholesale price. Then at night while I am not generating power, I repurchase back from Rocky Mountain power at retail price. That is definitely a strong hand deal for which I think Rocky Mountain power will get away with. I purchased my power generation system for my home based on what was pitched at the time as being my good citizen contribution to the problem of not enough power for the demand. I wanted to do my part. I felt under the current program that I was recoupingjust enough on the sale of my power to pay for my equipment. I purchased a$69,000.00 system for which I will continue to pay on that personal loan. I paid for the infrastructure and under this new deal it will be a loss year over year. Please stand up for the consumers who chose to be part of the solution. It's not equitable to change the rules for those who already have systems. You have already afforded protections for those in the legacy system category, now stand up for those who are in the non-legacy category. I am against this proposal:' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
