Comment: "Rock Mountain Power's requested rate adjustment is unfair and unnecessary.Their desire to
punish customers that have invested in powering the community through solar or other self generation is
insane. RMP benefits from the power generated by customers during peak periods of need at the same time
using their monopoly and iron grip on consumers to raise rates and pad their profit margin while avoiding the
investment into the communities they serve. RMP is requesting an unnecessary rate adjustment at the same
time their parent company Berkshire Hathaway is boasting of record profits it seems only consistent to
maintain rates as they have had no issues capitalizing on their monopoly on a large group of Idaho residents.
RMP already utilizes self generated power to provide for the necessary power consumption of the customer
base which they pay a significantly lower amount for power from self hosted power generation than they
would to purchase excess power from the open market:'
