Dear Commission Secretary,
Please find included with this letter Aspen Creek Water Companies Reply Comments for Case
No. ASP-W-24-03.
We have appreciated working with the IPUC and have found their help invaluable. Travis
Culbertson and Ty Johnson have gone above and beyond, walking us through this process, and
helping us better understand what our responsibility as owners are.
Thank you,
Kami McKinnon

Case No. ASP-W-24-03
1. We agree with staffs recommendation on vacant lot charges. That
holding the amount as a credit which is to be applied to future
connection charges when customers connect to the system benefits
both the water company and the property owners.
2. The company feels that professional services such as a water operator/
plumber at$32.00 an hour for 16 hours a month is not enough. Mainly
due to low amount of hours our system requires we feel it will be
difficult to retain help for $512.00 a month.
3. The company supports staffs recommendation on rate design for
$62.17. The company feels that it is a fair price for connected customers
until further data can be collected from reading meters which may
result in another rate case. The company believes that monitoring the
meters will help alleviate customer concerns about water
consumption. The company also supports staffs meter reading
schedule.
4. The company supports allowing customers to seek out and contract
their own horizontal boring and excavation services. The company
agrees to oversee and inspect. We believe this will benefit the company
by not depleting the company's funds for the few customers who have
knowingly purchased lots that do not have water services stubbed to
their property.
5. The company agrees to staffs recommendation that reconnection
charges be updated to an amount equal to 3 x the commission approved
monthly customer charge.
