Comment: "Please consider how unjust this proposed price for power adjustment is for residents
that have elected to install solar on their homes. Why do homeowners install solar on their
homes?...(1)To save money on electricity eventually, after paying off the large capitol investment.
(2)To help feed the power grid, keeping it more reliable for others. (3) Not myself, but many like to
feel all warm and fuzzy about being green.
How ridicules to charge customers more for their electricity because they use less of it.
That would be like someone who bought a Toyota Prius which is a hybrid, using both gasoline and
battery, being charged more per gallon at the pump than a guy driving a big gas guzzling pick-up
truck, just because the Prius typically will not use as much fuel. Two rates for the same
product? How is that fair? It's not. Please do not approve this.
Thank you, Dan Buck"

Comment: "I have read the letter you have sent everyone that has on-site generation about your
new proposal. You mention in this letter that is "a step towards ensuring fair prices for all
customers"Then you go on to say that instead of being paid $.07-$018 we will be paid$0.04. Here
we are doing your job in a more clean and efficient way and instead of getting more than what we
would have to pay for energy or, as what we are getting now,the same amount, you are proposing to
1
pay us less. In any other industry, that would be robbery. It's like have a someone put in a concrete
pad for you but instead of paying them what is on there in-voice,you say, I think I'll pay you almost
78% less than what is on your invoice! You would be sent to court for that.
bought and installed solar panels on my home so that I would not have as big of a power bill. With
this proposal, the little power bill will go up.Thus, voiding the reason I got solar panels in the first
place. With the payment for the panels themselves, and the payment for the power I can't produce
it will be more than I paid before I had the panels. That was not what I signed up for when I got the
panels.
have a third reason I have a problem with this. You talk about how we need to go greener, heck on
your website you have made it possible for people to pay more for"clean energy."Well, I have clean
energy, I am producing this energy on dead space on my roof. If that isn't clean I don't know what is.
With this proposal, how will you incentivize other people to get solar panels. People think about
themselves before they think about anything else. If not getting solar panels and paying money for
electricity from you is cheaper, than why would anybody get solar panels? They wont, this isn't
going to incentivize anybody to get solar panels and going"green". People will look at this and say,
"well if I need power from the power company and have to pay the solar panel company too, what is
the point in getting solar?"Your grid is getting strained with how many people are on it because of
the amount of people moving into this area. one way to not have as much strain on the gris is to get
people to produce their own power, then you even get some power from them too, that is nice. How
do you get people to produce their own power? Incentivize them to do it.An incentive you could use
is buying power AT A FAIR PRICE from them.
can't believe that you think this is a good idea, please reconsider this proposal. It is angering
people that have solar panels already, it will make our power bills go up even though we are trying to
make our own clean energy and having less strain on your electrical grids, and it won't incentivize
others in getting solar because there is no help from the power company. Please reconsider this
proposal.Thank you"
