Comment: "I do not think it is right that the power company can change the stipulations of the
contract after the fact. We spend 10's of thousands of dollars to install solar systems hoping they
will help us save money on our power bills. Then the power company makes changes that negate
and significantly change the cost of power or the value of our solar generated. "

Comment: "I think it is unfair for a utility company to choose to charge 25% more because I
customer decided not to use the solar program. Solar is very expensive and has to be replaced in
approximately 10years, at the owners expenses. While Rocky Mountain gets energy back to share
with others. I have hear some sincere complaints from those who have installed solar and they
wish, from a financial prospective they had never done it. By the time you pay for installation, you
really save enough to justify the cost. That being said, it is also sad that you want to bill those who
moved here after 2021 (note sure of the date) more then you change those here earlier. Please
consider the economy and those who are on fixed, or retired and social security incomes. Thank
you. "

Hello
am a Rocky Mountain Power customer with a solar energy system that was designed based on the
current compensation rates for excess energy production. I am deeply concerned about any
potential reduction in the amount Rocky Mountain Power pays for the energy my system generates.
If these rates are reduced, my system would no longer cover my energy needs as originally planned,
and I would be forced to install additional panels to make up the difference. The current structure is
close to fair, as I pay approximately the same rate for the power I use as I receive for the power I
produce.
Many other solar customers would face similar challenges if these changes take effect, making
their systems less efficient and financially viable. I urge you to maintain the current compensation
rates to ensure that solar remains a practical and sustainable option for homeowners.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tehren Likes

Comment: "I am not in favor of changing the compensation rate for solar panel energy from 9 cents
to 4 cents per kilowatt hour. "
