SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF IDAHO POWER
COMPANY TO MODIFY SCHEDULE 72, GENERATOR
INTERCONNECTIONS TO PURPA QUALIFYING FACILITY SELLERS,
IN CONFORMANCE WITH FERC ORDERS 2023/2023-A.; CASE NO.IPC-
E-25-06.
On February 28, 2025, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application
("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting an order
modifying Schedule 72,Generator Interconnections to PURPA Qualifying Facility("QF") Sellers,
to conform with the interconnection process reforms implemented by the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission("FERC")in Order No. 2023/2023-A to large generator interconnections,
over 20 MW. Application at 1-2.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff ("Staff') recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of
Application and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a May 15, 2025, initial comment
deadline, and a May 22, 2025, reply comment deadline.
