Comment: "I do not think this is right raising our water bills yet another time after raising itjust 2
years ago by 22%and lowering the median usage. We are already above the average water rates in
Idaho. The average water bill in Idaho is$38 per month. This is ridiculous!!!We are in Idaho!! Out of
staters come in and take over thinking we have big city wages like where they live.This is Idaho
Falls,we don't have Big City wages.When you take the rate increase along with the median usage
being lowered that is a huge increase for a family.This is just not right!!"

Ms. Barrios-Sanchez, Commissioner Edward Lodge, and Commissioner John R. Hammond,
I'm writing to express my opposition to the outrageous rate increase that Falls Water Co has applied for.
This increase is excessive as the request is for a 27%increase. This is the second double digit increase
request in two years.Not only is this an astronomical request,we the consumer are getting less for our
money. Our median usage has declined while our rates are increasing.Additionally,the service and
product delivery has diminished. I,along with our neighbors have experienced lower water pressure over
the last two years and this creates concern for watering needs across the neighborhood with
compromised watering times in the summer.We have homes that do not have enough water pressure to
have a healthy lawn or plants. I own a small business and if I was offering less of a product year over year
and continued to increase my price by double digits,I'd be closing my business. The true problem with
this increase is the fact that Falls Water Co and its parent Company,has a monopoly on our water
service.We have no other service providers.A small increase would be acceptable if we as customers of
Falls Water Co truly saw an improvement of service,product delivery and were satisfied with the water
service being provided.This is NOT happening. I ask for your rejection of this request.
