Dear Ms. Jewell:
We are the attorneys for RIDLEY TELEPHONE COMPANY, LLC (hereinafter "Ridley ). The
Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission ) previously authorized Ridley to provide
intrastate telecommunications services on June 14, 2002. Ridley has no customers in Idaho.
Ridley no longer intends to retain authority in the State ofIdaho.
Accordingly, we respectfully request that the Commission cancel Ridley s authority effective
immediately.
Enclosed is a duplicate of this letter. Please stamp the duplicate received and return same in the
postage-paid envelope attached thereto.
