SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN
POWER FOR APPROVAL OF THE DECOMMISSIONING AND SALE OF
THE PARIS HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT GENERATING FACILITIES;
CASE NO. PAC-E-25-01.
On February 6, 2025, PacifiCorp, d/ b/ a Rocky Mountain Power ("Company") filed an
application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting an order
approving the decommissioning of the Paris Hydroelectric Project generating facilities ("Paris
Project") and determining that the decommissioning and property disposition is in the public
interest.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff("Staff') recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application,
Notice of Modified Procedure, and Notice of Telephonic Public Hearing establishing a May 8,
2025,public comment deadline, a May 22,2025,reply comment deadline, and a telephonic public
hearing scheduled at a date and time determined by the Commission.
COMMISSION DECISION
