IPUC Inspector Galli traveled to the Twin Falls District Office to observe IGC crews and KV Utilities
conducting their annual classroom and practical training session. The key areas included:
1. Mechanical Fittings:
o Met-fit installations utilizing both hand tools and hydraulic systems.
o Installation of continental stab fittings and saddle T's.
2. Electrofusion Procedures:
o Installation of saddle T's and couplings.
3. Butt-Fusion Procedures:
o Techniques and protocols.
During the training, personnel effectively recognized and addressed all applicable Abnormal Operating
Conditions (AOCs), ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.
