January 30, 2025: (1.0 Standard) (Galli 0.5)(Perkins 0.5)
At approximately 1130 hours, IPUC Inspector Galli arrived at 1091 N Rockdale Way, Kuna, ID,to
discover a gas leak resulting from a line strike by a Dasco employee. The Dasco team had already notified
IGC, Dasco leadership, and emergency services (911). When IGC Service Technicians and Crews
assessed the situation, it was determined that two sections of the main needed to be squeezed off due to the
location of the line strike. After the main was squeezed off, a new section of the service line was installed
and pressure tested at 95 psi for 15 minutes. The main line was released and backfilled at approximately
1445 hours. The dig ticket number was 2025051736.
