Comment: "Dear PUC members,
I am in opposition of this rate hike.
I believe it's scandalous to think that a foreign corporation would think it's okay to circumvent the norm
of asking first and instead is asking for forgiveness later.The takeover of our water resources and
infrastructure is unsettling enough.
This seams obvious to me and all I have discussed it with, that this is a thinly veiled attempt to recoup
their take over and "rebranding" of our prior water utility company. (New trucks, shirts and shwag along
with typical costs of doing business. ) " If it's not broke don't fix it!" One retired fella told me at the
coffee shop. He worked for our previous international corporation Suez.
Inflation is no excuse either. We all need to manage our own budget. We can't give ourself a raise and
ask for it after we've cashed the check.
This request must be denied.
