Re: Case No. I PC-E-09-35
Micron Technology, Inc.'s Special Contract — Contract Demand Level
Increase
Dear Commission Secretary:
Enclosed for your reference and file is a copy of a Letter Agreement between Idaho
Power Company ("Idaho Power") and Micron Technology, Inc. ("Micron") wherein the
parties have agreed to an increase in Micron's Contract Demand Level pursuant to the
Agreement for Electric Service ("ESA") between Idaho Power and Micron previously
approved by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission"), most recently in Order
No. 35898. Pursuant to past practice, Idaho Power is submitting this letterfor informational
purposes only relative to the Commission's approval of the Micron ESA and is not
requesting that the Commission take any action.'
Though Idaho Power has historically provided the Commission with informational
copies of Micron's changes to Contract Demand Levels, it does not appear that this
practice was directed by the Commission. Therefore, in an effort to ensure consistency with
other ESAs and efficiency in ESA administration, going forward Idaho Power no longer
intends to submit these letters to the Commission unless the Commission directs otherwise.

Contract with Micron Technology, Inc. and a Power Purchase Agreement with Black Mesa Energy, LLC,
