IPC-E-24-07 OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY TO ) INCREASE RATES FOR ELECTRIC ) ORDER NO. 36458 SERVICE TO RECOVER COSTS ) ASSOCIATED WITH INCREMENTAL ) CAPITAL INVESTMENTS AND CERTAIN ) ONGOING OPERATIONS AND ) MAINTENANCE ) On May 31, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application ("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting an order approving a revision to the Company's schedules of rates for electric service in the state of Idaho. The Company requested an increase in annual Idaho jurisdictional revenue of$99,293,220. On December 31, 2024, the Commission issued Order No. 36438 approving the Company's Application as modified by the Order, with an increase in annual Idaho jurisdictional revenue of$50,605,147. Order No. 36438 ordered the Company to file tariffs and schedules in conformance with the Order, to be effective on January 1, 2025, for service rendered on and after that date. On January 21, 2025, the Commission issued an Errata to Order No. 36438 that modified the increase in annual Idaho jurisdictional revenue from $50,605,147 to $50,100,414. On January 22, 2025, the Company submitted a Second Compliance Filing with tariffs and schedules based on the errata modifying Order No. 3 643 8. COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DECISION The Commission has jurisdiction over the Application and the issues in this case under Title 61 of the Idaho Code including Idaho Code §§ 61-301 through 303. The Commission is empowered to investigate rates, charges, rules, regulations, practices, and contracts of all public utilities and to determine whether they are just, reasonable, preferential, discriminatory, or in violation of any provisions of law, and to fix the same by order. Idaho Code §§ 61-501 through 503. Having reviewed the record and all submitted filings, the Commission finds that the Company's modified tariff schedules submitted through a compliance filing on January 2, 2025, with a January 1, 2025, effective date conform with the provisions of Order No. 36438 as initially ORDER NO. 36458 1 issued. The Commission finds that the Company's modified tariff schedules submitted through a second compliance filing on January 22, 2025, with a February 1, 2025, effective date conform with the provisions of Order No. 36438 as modified by the January 21,2025,errata. Further,based upon the circumstances of this case, the Commission finds that it is fair,just, and reasonable to reconcile the differences in the January 2025 approved rates and the post errata February 2025 approved rates, and to credit customers that difference. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company's modified tariff schedules submitted in the January 2, 2025, compliance filing with a January 1, 2025, effective date are approved. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company's modified tariff schedules submitted in the January 22, 2025, second compliance filing with a February 1, 2025, effective date are approved. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company shall work with Staff as expeditiously as possible to determine a method to reconcile the difference between the January 2025 and February 2025 rates and identify and implement a process to credit customers the difference. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date upon this Order regarding any matter decided in this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. Idaho Code §§ 61-626.
