In February 2003,the Commission issued Certificate No.407 to KMC DATA,LLC
to provide local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services in Idaho.In August
2008,the Commission approved KMC DATA’s Application to change its name to Hypercube
Telecom,LLC and issued a First Amended Certificate No.407 to Hypercube.See Order No.
30641.On November 9,2015,Hypercube notified the Commission that it had changed the name
under which it does business from Hypercube Telecom to West Telecom Services,LLC.West
Telecom provided an updated price list reflecting the new business name,an Amended
Certificate of Registration from the Idaho Secretary of State’s office,and the customer notice.
The Company states that the name change does not impact the corporate existence or
management of the Company,and will not affect the services provided to customers.The
Company states that a separate notice was provided to customers,and brief reminders will be
included in the customer bills.
Based on our review of the Application,the Commission finds it appropriate to
amend Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No.407 to reflect the carrier’s change in
name from Hypercube Telecom,LLC to West Telecom Services,LLC.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No.407 is amended to reflect the name change from Hypercube Telecom,LLC to West Telecom
Services,LLC.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No.GNR-T-0 1-11.Within seven (7)days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See
Idaho Code §61-626 and 62-619.
