We disagree with the rate increase imposed by Meadows Water, LLC. Timberline has been negligent in
not making the necessary repairs and upgrades.
The owners of the well,Timberline Development, have been cited by DEQ for numerous violations which
they have made no effort to correct.They are now under investigation by IPUC concerning operation of a
public utility and failure to address the serious citations by DEQ, not the least of which is the failure to
provide a backup power source for the well.
There has been no substantial effort to upgrade or maintain their public water system as evidenced by
Timberline's failure to reconnect the backup power generator, test backflow devices or upgrade the
controls that monitor and treat the water. When the power goes out, there is a concern about the
quality of the water due to outdated systems and equipment.
