SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF CAPITOL WATER CORPORATION'S
APPLICATION TO INCREASE ITS RATES AND CHARGES FOR
WATER SERVICE IN THE STATE OF IDAHO; CASE NO. CAP-W-24-01.
On March 1, 2024, Capitol Water Corporation, ("Company") applied to the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authorization to increase its rates and charges
for water service.
On December 19, 2024, the Commission issued Order No. 36427 approving an annual
revenue requirement for the Company of $823,592. The approved revenue requirement was
based on adjustments and calculations summarized in Order No. 36427. The Commission
directed the Company to submit conforming tariffs and schedules in conformance to Order No.
36427.
On January 10, 2025, the Company filed conforming tariffs and schedules reflecting the
rates approved in Order No. 36427. Commission Staff("Staff') reviewed the Company's tariffs
and schedules and confirmed the corrected filing conforms to Order No. 3 642 7.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve the Company's tariffs and schedules filed on
January 10, 2025, as filed, with an effective date of January 1, 2025.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to approve the Company's second corrected tariffs and
schedules filed on January 10, 2025, as filed, with an effective date of January 1, 2025?
