IPC-E-24-46. On December 27, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application ("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission("Commission") requesting an order: (1)approving a 35-year Power Purchase Agreement("PPA")between the Company and Jackalope Wind, LLC ("Jackalope"); and(2) granting the Company a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN") to acquire 300 MW of generation to meet an identified capacity deficiency in 2027. Application at 1-2. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Commission Staff ("Staff') recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period.
