I have owned a home in the community for the past 5 years. During that time, I have not observed any effort to upgrade or maintain the public water system owned by Timberline Development.Additionally, our HOA has requested mandatory upgrades to be made to make Timberline in compliance with DEQ regulations of which none have been made. Timberline Development has failed to: 1. Connect a backup power generator. The power in this area typically goes out a few times a year, which then leaves us residents no drinkable water for a period of time until the water can be tested, due to a generator not being connected to keep the water flowing during a power outage. The period of time that we have been left without drinking water has been up to a week at times. 2.Test backflow devices. 3. Upgrade the controls that monitor and treat the water. The lack of necessary upgrades and maintenance from Timberline Development has put our community at risk and has led to numerous violations cited by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). I strongly object to any rate increase proposed by Meadows Water LLC until Timberline Development addresses these critical issues and makes the necessary repairs and upgrades to ensure the safety and reliability of our water supply. We urge the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC)to take immediate action to hold Timberline Development accountable for their negligence and to ensure that our community receives the high- quality water service we deserve. Thank you for your attention to this matter." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
