It should be the IPUC fiduciary responsibility to look after the public interest and not the profits of Veolia. We are not in favor. However, I would like to voice a concern of mine. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. All other monthly bills that I have also have increased over the last year or so. I am concerned that myself and other senior citizens are unduly paying a greater percentage of our income for rent and bills which is leaving less and less available money for groceries, gas, etc. Why are there no programs for people like us? If they need money for new building this cost needs to be passed on to the developers and buyers of the new developments. This proposed increase is nothing but Greedflation.Another greedy business run by greedy people wanting more. What about the consumers? Every business is raising prices because of their greed and we are at the point of poverty." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following comment was submitted via PUCWeb: Name: Mike McDaniel Submission Time: Dec 18 2024 1:32PM Email: mikeieaniennakurt@hotmail.com Telephone: 208-866-0349 Address: 822 E. If the minimum fee were reduced, so that people who use very little water were not constantly paying the high minimum even when their usage is minimal, it might make sense. Please reconsider the time frame in which you propose to increase these rates and it could be more agreeable. " ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3
