Comment: "I would request that the IPUC deny Veolia request for rate increase. It should be the IPUC
fiduciary responsibility to look after the public interest and not the profits of Veolia. "

Comment: "In view of the current economical climate and hard financial times,we do not feel there is a
justifiable reason for increasing the rates on public water resources. We are not in favor. "

Comment: "I understand your request for a rate increase due possible upcoming improvements.
However, I would like to voice a concern of mine.
I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. All other monthly bills that I have also have increased over
the last year or so. I am concerned that myself and other senior citizens are unduly paying a greater
percentage of our income for rent and bills which is leaving less and less available money for groceries,
gas, etc.
Why are there no programs for people like us? "

Comment: "In requards to the proposed water rate increase by Veolia. This increase is not needed. If
they need money for new building this cost needs to be passed on to the developers and buyers of the
new developments.
This proposed increase is nothing but Greedflation.Another greedy business run by greedy people
wanting more. What about the consumers? Every business is raising prices because of their greed and
we are at the point of poverty."

Comment: "I am opposed to the current rate increase request. As somebody who currently uses very
little Veolia water, I already feel the rates are too high. If the minimum fee were reduced, so that people
who use very little water were not constantly paying the high minimum even when their usage is
minimal, it might make sense. "

Comment: "While the postcard detailing the proposal was very much appreciated, as well as the updates
to the water supply system, a 20.5% rate increase over the course of two years seems far too high,
especially in such a volatile economic climate that is poised to decline before it gets better. All utilities
seem to be increasing this year, and with mortgages being as high as they are, along with inflation, our
wages are struggling to keep up with the cost of living in this area. Please reconsider the time frame in
which you propose to increase these rates and it could be more agreeable. "
