The following tariff sheets identify the proposed modifications: First Revised Sheet No. 54-1 Cancelling Original Sheet No. 54-1 Second Revised Sheet No. 54-2 Cancelling First Revised Sheet No. 54-2 In Order No. 36042, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") approved a Settlement Stipulation authorizing a Residential Service Charge of $10.00, effective January 1, 2024, and a Residential Service Charge of $15.00, effective January 1, 2025. In compliance with that order, Idaho Power filed an updated Schedule 54 for Commission approval on January 10, 2024, which included a Fixed Cost per Customer ("FCC") and Fixed Cost in Energy ("FCE") based on a $10.00 Service Charge. The Commission approved Schedule 54 in Order No. 36067, issued on January 23, 2024. To ensure the 2025 FCA deferral is properly calculated, Idaho Power is requesting to update the FCC and FCE contained within Schedule 54 to reflect the change in Service Charge collection that will occur when the Residential Service Charge is increased from $10.00 to $15.00, effective January 1, 2025. On page 54-1, the tariff schedule references when customers are considered "new customers" versus "existing customers." The reference was not updated to 2024 and instead still reflects 2022, which was an administrative oversight. ACTUAL FIXED COSTS RECOVERED AMOUNT The Actual Fixed Costs Recovered amount is computed by summing 1) the product of the actual energy load for existing Residential and Small General Service customers multiplied by the appropriate Residential and Small General Service FCE rate and 2) the product of the actual energy load for new Residential and Small General Service customers multiplied by the appropriate Residential and Small General Service FCE-Dist rate. FIXED COST ADJUSTMENT The Fixed Cost Adjustment (FCA) is the difference between the Allowed Fixed Cost Recovery Amount and the Actual Fixed Costs Recovered Amount divided by the estimated weather-normalized energy load for the following year for Residential and Small General Service Customers. The monthly Fixed Cost Adjustment for Residential Service (Schedules 1, 3, 5, and 6) is 0.6182 cents per kWh. The monthly Fixed Cost Adjustment for Small General Service (Schedules 7 and 8) is 0.7638 cents per kWh. EXPIRATION The Fixed Cost Adjustment included on this schedule will expire May 31, 2025.
