SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN UTILITY COMPANY, INC.'S
APPLICATION TO AMEND ITS CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY; CASE NO. ROC-W-24-01.
On August 23, 2024, Rocky Mountain Utility Co., LLC d.b.a. Rocky Mountain Utilities
Co., Inc.' ("Company") applied for approval to amend its Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity ("CPCN") to allow the Company to expand its service territory to include a newly
created subdivision; the Company also noted that it had built new wells and related infrastructure
("Application").The Company also submitted supplemental filings relevant to its Application.The
Company requested that its Application be processed by Modified Procedure.
On October 10,2024,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and set deadlines for
public comments and the Company's reply. Order No. 36346.
On November 4, 2024, the Commission vacated the previously established comment
deadlines and ordered the Company to provide a more complete description of the Company's
requested service area within 30 days. Order No. 36380. The Company submitted a filing on
November 22, 2024. Staff believes the filing complied with Order No. 36380.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission:
1) Find that the Company's November 22, 2024, filing complies with Order No. 36380; and
' The Idaho Secretary of State's website lists the Company's official name as "Rocky Mountain Utility Company,
Inc."The Company's Application states that this is the name which it is doing business under.

2) Issue a Notice of Comment Deadlines establishing a January 16, 2025, public comment
deadline and a January 30, 2025, Company reply deadline.
